The climatic health resort Wackersberg is a small, tranquil place in the Bavarian Oberland at the foot of the Karwendel Mountains in the river Isar Valley, 50 km south of Munich.
It is located between the city of Bad Tölz and the winter sports resort of Lenggries.
You can visit Innsbruck, Salzburg and the Bavarian royal castles in a day trip. Theater fans have a large selection in Munich.
Well-maintained hiking and biking trails as well as mountain cablecars and chairlifts are nearby. The typical Bavarian inn “Altwirt” is in sight of your accomodation.
Assistance with choosing your excursion destinations, which include the nearby Tyrol, is also provided in English, Italian and French – no matter whether you plan to explore on foot, by bike or by car.
The stop for the public bus is right next to the private driveway.
